Hello, I'm Jen with Caketasic Cakes.
I'm a cake baker that decided to make YouTube videos to show step-by-step directions on "HOW TO MAKE" cake decorations yourself.  My narrated tutorials are designed to teach anyone how to turn a "meh" cake into an "amazing" cake right in your own kitchen! No need for a bakery or expensive specialty tools.

A lot of times, making cake decorations isn't hard, you just need to see the tricks on how it's done.  AND... Hand crafted cake decorations totally change the impression of even a store bought cake.  Cake decorations are the first impression of any cake.  They give the WOW factor and help the entire event become more memorable.

My cake decorations are completely edible. I make a lot of kids favorites like superheros, video game and cartoon characters, but I also make decorations for retirement parties, baby showers, weddings, and customized creations.


MATERIAL
I use gum paste in my instructional videos but modeling paste, sugar paste, or even fondant can be used. I do lot of work for kids so I only use lollipop sticks and dry spaghetti, so nobody gets hurt biting into a toothpick.  You can also use my instructions to create items with polymer clay or any sculpting clay like sculpey or fimo.
